Coronado Island Club Wedding – Krystal & Steve

Coronado Island Club wedding

Krystal & Steve are simply amazing people to know.  Not only do they know how to have an awesome time amongst their friends but they are genuine, generous and very appreciative individuals. Ever since Nicole and I walked Mission Trails with these two for their rad outdoor cheese and wine inspired engagement session we were anxiously awaiting their Coronado Island Club wedding…not just because we love weddings, but because we wanted to hang out with them again!  Unfortunately, I can’t say that the day flowed perfectly without a hitch as Steve accidentally sat on lipstick and as a result had dark red lipstick alllllll over his uber clean white navy uniform.  But – we all put our heads together and buckled down and took care of business and while he and his awesome groomsmen were solving his lipstick stained pants predicament Krystal was cool as a cucumber after hearing what had happened…what a gal I tell ya!

Once Steve was all cleaned up and back in action we quickly set up for their first look, and boy o boy was it a great one!  We absolutely love first looks and our couples do too, they are so beneficial for so many different reasons.

After some portraits of the two of them we headed to the ceremony site at the Island Club where from there onwards it was smooth sailing for these two!  Of course having an amazing vendor team is always key to a smooth running day and with Courtney & Ashley of After the Engagement behind the helm Nicole and I knew we were in good shape.  But in addition to awesome coordinators, Krystal and Steve were fortunate to have Exquisite Blooms handle the florals, the always amazing Bethel perform the ceremony, Blake Miller DJ’ing and to really get their guests going – The Studiobooth by Cole Joseph Photography!  Make sure to check out the video at the bottom to see our Studiobooth in action.

Ok – I know, less talk, more rock…I mean photos….on we go!
