Del Mar Engagement – Lindsay & Steve

One of the best things about our job without question is how many awesome people we get to meet.  It’s always so refreshing when you get to meet new people and just hit it off instantly and have so much fun together while “working” that it seems as if we’ve all known each other for years…

…meet our newest friends: Lindsay & Steve.

Lindsay & Steve were in town visiting from Chicago and we had a blast meeting them for the first time and getting to know each of them during their engagement session in Del Mar.

What is always super fun is when we can incorporate places & things that are important to our couples on our engagement sessions.

Del Mar has always been a special place to each of them – it was where Lindsay remembers playing at the beach as a kid, it was Powerhouse Park where Steve proposed to Lindsay, it was L’Auberge Del Mar where they stayed the night they got engaged…

See? It just made sense that we had to head back to Del Mar to visit and recall on those awesome past memories.

Nicole and I just loved every bit of walkin’ and talkin’ and shootin’ with these two and the amount of natural, fun, relaxed and cozy photos are just amazing – having to narrow it down and pick which photos to feature here for this post was no easy task!

Lindsay & Steve – we had so much fun with you guys! We can’t wait for your wedding at The Prado.  Next time your in town, remember, it’s Mexican food and margaritas on us!

I just love this one so much…it doesn’t get more real than that folks.

We made sure to get some great shots for Steve’s future modeling portfolio…if the whole doctor thing doesn’t work out 😉

I love the way that Steve gazes at Lindsay 🙂

Another favorite!!

Seconds after I was getting the shot above, Nicole got these awesome ones below!

I am so in love with the photo below which was never a planned or posed photo at all.  Everything about it is just so honest, tender and real. Looking at this photo you would have never known that there were hundreds of people around and us, but in this moment, its all about these two and no one else matters.

Another completely candid shot I took that I think is so awesome…the slight silhouette and beach haze from the sunset says “California” like no other in these next shots.

…yep, it was windy with the train running by!

These two rocked the camera!
